Indian Ocean

Maldives

Tiny idyllic islands surrounded by coral reefs and white powdery sand. I am just back from a trip to the islands and this place really is heaven on earth! Perfect for those who love to chill out and spend lazy days in the sun and romantic evenings strolling along the beach catching the last glimpses of the sun setting into the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

I was lucky to visit many of the islands during my trip. There are so many islands all offering different experiences and it is so important to get advice on which island will suit you best, so speak to us for more information. It will be a true delight for me to take you on a journey to these islands. I cannot recommend them enough as the ultimate honeymoon destination.

Best time to Go

The best time to visit is said to be November to Easter time but that is the theory, temperatures are good all year round. *Towards the end of May and into July and August the monsoons can bring intermittent showers, at other times there may be occasional showers. Certainly prices for the Maldives are highest between November and April which is classed as Peak Season. We have been sending honeymooners to these idyllic islands for many years and never had complaints about the weather. When I was there in May the weather was glorious and it rained for 5 minutes in total and did I move from my sunbed? The answer is no!!
When it does rain, the rain rushes over the islands quickly as there are no mountains to trap any bad weather, Besides you can always spend the afternoon in bed.....

Combine with

Weddings

It is not possible (yet) to marry in the Maldives although we can arrange blessings and renewal of vow! Fingers crossed laws will change and weddings will one day be possible.

Mauritius

Exotic, stunning and one of the world's ultimate honeymoon and wedding destinations.

Mauritius has it all. Style and sophistication are second nature and the resorts have a reputation for offering world class service, facilities and cuisine. I visitied Mauritius last year and totally fell in love with the place. What really impressed me was the service and the genuine desire of the local people to ensure you had the best stay possible.

Luxury spas await to pamper you and treat your body and mind to the most up to date treatments, Dining is a delight with foods touched with African, Indian, French and Creole inlfluences.

White sandy beaches, surrounded by a coral reef so calm warm waters make it ideal for swimming, snorkelling and enjoying a variety of watersports.

Best time to Go

The best weather in Mauritius is between April and June and September to November, although watch out for afternoon showers any time of the year.

Combine with

Mauritius with Seychelles - Best to do Seychelles first and then Mauritius as you can enjoy the relaxation of the Seychelles before moving to Mauritius and enjoying the sophistication and excellent standards....
Also Dubai, South Africa, Paris.

Weddings

Mauritius is a beautiful island to go to get married. The hotels limit the amount of weddings per day to one so that you are not rushed and that you have time to be pampered and made to feel really special. There are some stunning venues for weddings and remember that for brides will be offered fantastic savings on the price of the accommodation (weddings and honeymoons) sometimes up to 50 per cent discount. So, Mauritius is certainly worth considering. We use a specialist Tour Operator for all our Maurtius weddings and honeymoons. They offer the best prices and an unrivalled personal service! Please ask for more details and hotel recommendations...

Seychelles

The Seychelles are known as the islands of love. A very romantic setting, sheer escapism for true romantics. Honeymoons to the Seychelles are not for those on a tight budget as prices are high. Few couples decide to stay on just one island as it is possible to island hop and visit at least two islands during your stay. Evenings are very quiet and relaxing and days are spent lazing in the sunshine, or enjoying watersports.

Best time to Go

May to September. From October to April the north west winds bring humidity. The main rainy season is in December and January.

Combine with

Mauritius, South Africa, Dubai and Reunion.
